1. Open Gmail in your internet browser.
2. After that login to your Gmail account.
3. After login go to the right hand side corner you will see a down arrow button.
4. Just click on that option.
5. You will a pop up comes up with your Gmail ID written on that with two options as account and privacy.
6. Just click on the account option.
7. By clicking the accounts options you will get your Gmail account settings.
8. Just scroll down and then see the last option given on that page.
9. It will be given as “close account and delete all services and information associated with it”.
10. If you want close your Gmail account then click on that respective option.
11. After that you will get a new window which says that if you are associated with any of the Google services then check it before proceeding you would not be able to use those services any longer. Just tick everything.
12. And then it gives you an option below to enter your password of your Gmail account to confirm your identity.
13. Just enter the password.
14. And then after entering the password, tick the option “yes I want to delete my account”.
15.  And then press the delete Google account button and you are done with it.
16. Now you have deleted your Google account completely.

The only reason again is once my friend noticed the same thing when he got a mail from his which was having tutorial on downloading MomentCam for PC and after that he was seeing all the similar ads which he didn’t liked and decided to delete the gmail account.
